Sasi’s ethos of kindness, compassion and empathy sees her receive positive feedback and thanks for her compassionate and empathetic nature. Often sought out to be a sounding board for people, due to her supportive and non-judgmental style.

Her why: Sasi is a passionate advocate for fellow HR professionals who may be feeling emotionally lost, low, frustrated by life, or at a crossroads and unsure where to turn for help. She wants to champion and support their reignition of confidence to ensure that these feelings don’t spiral into serious mental health, and to facilitate a happier and fulfilled way forward.

Career Background: Having worked for and volunteered with large public sector organisations – CIPD, Police, Fire and Education, has equipped her to deal with and advise on aligning HR and business strategy, managing transformation and change, understanding politics, committees, auditing and policy. All skills that can assist and support you as she facilitates your ability to reignite your inner confidence.

Early Years: Sasi had a difficult start in life being fostered at 6 days old, by a white family in a small, very white town. Being black was difficult at times in this area, and school, growing up not know who she really was, things like having no-one to help with her hair, makeup availability in the 80s and 90s, her experiences and issues relating to discrimination, and attachment theory due to not having the bonds that are created through a biological family home, may have impacted her imposter syndrome.
